About the Project
Each year, Hiranandani Developers sends out a calendar to their clients and associates, and for the 2019 edition, the brief was to depict their spaces in a way that felt entirely unseen.
This year's focus was on the developer's star projects across Thane and Powai, with the shoot built around the distinct architectural elements that make Hiranandani's townships instantly recognisable.
The Brief
The goal was to create something clients and associates would genuinely want on their desk, without it reading as an obvious piece of branded collateral. The real creative challenge lay in the subject itself: Hiranandani's developments are among the most photographed in Mumbai, and the ask was to find a fresh, distinctive way to frame spaces that had already been captured extensively from nearly every angle.
The Approach
The approach centered on isolating Hiranandani's signature architectural details, the elements that define its townships in Thane and Powai, and presenting them in a way that felt considered rather than familiar.
By moving past the wide, expected shots typically associated with the developments, the imagery offered a quieter, more intentional read on spaces most people had already seen a hundred times over.
