About the Client and Home
I worked with Purvi Shah Interiors, a full-service boutique design studio known for creating highly personalised, elegant, and flexible spaces, to document a residence on the 63rd floor of Lodha World Towers, one of Mumbai's most iconic addresses.
The space was truly magical: large rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and light pouring in from every side throughout the day, layered with Lalique vases and sculptures and a fully automated home, right down to the bathrooms.
The apartment's curved facade was central to its identity, with the common family spaces wrapping around the balconies to fully embrace the sweeping views of the city and bay.
The Brief
The brief was documentation, with a particular focus on how the interior designer had reimagined the layout, breaking down several rooms to create larger, more expansive spaces, a departure from the standard layouts elsewhere in the building.
This was one of the calmest shoots I've worked on: a 4BHK captured over two days, with every styling element in place beforehand and a thorough recce and angle discussion completed well ahead of time.
The Approach
This was a space where nearly every corner photographed beautifully, which meant the real challenge was choice rather than compromise. I timed the shoot to move with the sunlight, ensuring we captured the living room, the true heart of the home, bathed in its best evening light. Throughout, I used foreground elements deliberately to convey the sheer scale of the space, letting each frame carry a real sense of depth and grandeur.
