About the Project
I worked with Purvi Shah Interiors, a full-service boutique design studio known for creating highly personalised, elegant, and flexible spaces, on a super-luxury 5BHK duplex in Pune. The apartment made a strong architectural statement from the outset, with double-height ceilings, expansive rooms, and a terraced garden that gave the home a rare sense of scale and openness.
The Brief
The brief was documentation of the site. The main creative challenge was light, the space didn't receive much natural daylight, which meant every frame needed to be carefully balanced with flash to supplement the ambient conditions throughout.
The Approach
With natural light limited, I relied heavily on flash lighting layered against the ambient light to bring out the depth and detail across the duplex's expansive rooms. Working alongside stylist Altrove made the process considerably smoother, with the space thoughtfully set and ready to shoot at every turn.
