About the Client
Innovators Facade Systems Limited is an established Indian engineering firm specializing in the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of advanced building exteriors and fenestration solutions. Based in the interiors of Maharashtra, the company has been in a continuous phase of expansion.
The Brief
The client needed documentation of their factory space, production processes, workforce, and machinery to demonstrate that their facility meets international standards and is capable of producing high quality facade systems at high volume. The photography needed to communicate scale and precision to an audience evaluating the company's manufacturing capabilities.
The Approach
Every photograph in this shoot was staged rather than candid. Given the tight production schedule, lightweight and easily movable equipment was used throughout. Each shot was planned in advance, from camera angle and lighting to the exact number of workers required in frame and their placement within the composition.
The factory's active operations meant conditions shifted quickly even with detailed scheduling in place, requiring constant adjustment on the day of the shoot. The project also required four separate site visits before the final shoot, as the rapidly expanding facility meant the scope of work grew with each visit.
