About the Project
Each year, Hiranandani Developers sends out a calendar to their clients and associates, and for this edition, the brief was to depict their spaces in a way that felt entirely unseen. I approached the shoot with stark black-and-white imagery, moving away from the township's usual visual language to focus on the distinct architectural elements that make Hiranandani instantly recognisable.
The Brief
The goal was to create something clients and associates would genuinely want on their desk, without it reading as an obvious piece of branded collateral. The real creative challenge lay in the subject itself: Hiranandani's township is one of the most photographed developments in Mumbai, and the ask was to find a fresh, distinctive way to frame a space that had already been captured, extensively, from nearly every angle.
The Approach
Working in black and white shifted the focus entirely onto form, line, and architectural detail, stripping away colour to let the township's defining structural elements take center stage. The result was a body of work that reframed a familiar landmark through a quieter, more graphic lens, making the ordinary feel considered and new.
